Another oldie but funnie

Linda Burnett, 23, was visiting her inlaws, and while there went to a nearby supermarket to pick up some groceries. Several people noticed her sitting in her car with the windows rolled up and with her eyes closed, with both hands behind the back of her head. One customer who had been at the store for a while became concerned and walked over to the car. He noticed that Linda's eyes were now open, and she looked very strange. He asked her if she was okay, and Linda replied that she'd been shot in the back of the head, and had been holding her brains in for over an hour.

The man called the paramedics, who broke into the car because the doors were locked and Linda refused to remove her hands from her head. When they finally got in, They found that Linda had a wad of bread dough on the back of her head.

A Pillsbury biscuit canister had exploded from the heat, making a loud noise that sounded like a gunshot and the wad of dough hit her in the back of her head. When she reached back to find out what it was, she felt the dough and thought it was her brains. She initially passed out, but quickly recovered and tried to hold her brains in for over an hour until someone noticed and came to her aid.

And, yes, Linda is a blonde.

Are you stressed? Are you overweight? Good news here!

An interesting weightloss story

I listened to a wonderful weightloss story on the radio this evening. Wow what a transformation! Check it out! http://www.gabrielmethod.com/ There are several videos at the site, so I won't post them all.

Do you like Treehouses?

I came across a website of a "tree resort". It is so cool and a little scary, but what fun it would be to stay in one. The website is http://www.treehouses.com/

Reflexology

Yep, I'm a foot rubber. Ha! I'm a lot of things, but this new year, I'm refreshing my skills as a reflexologist, for myself, my family and my friends. I brought out all my books and charts and went to work on my poor feet. Not one to do things lightly, I really "dug" in. Boy, did it feel good and do good.

I started out with Mildred Carter books, an easy way to get started in reflexology. There are many reflexology seminars, many that I have attended and I have learned so much. It's a good skill to learn.

I found this neat interactive foot chart that will help you learn reflexology. Foot reflexology chart by Barbara and Kevin Kunz. Have fun!

Happy New Year!

It's been a busy time for most of us with Christmas and New Year. I really welcome 2011! How about you?
No New Year's resolutions for me, just thinking of how I can and do better in 2011, but no set goals or expectations. I have been thinking of things that have worked for me in the past and things that haven't. With the cold days of winter, there is plenty of time to reflect. So, of course it would be nice to make more money, lose weight, have more fun in my relationships and just enjoy my days to the fullest, but not quite sure how to make all that come about. I guess that I should just start where I'm at and be very grateful for what I do have and then go from there. So to everyone reading this and thinking about the new year, just be the best that you can in all areas of life and definitely...no stress this year. Give someone a hug.
